The breakfast was simply outstanding! Our hosts were immensely welcoming, and the spacious room offered all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. Just needed a small sink in the room for washing dishes. 😊

Exceptional home-cooked breakfast featuring local produce.
While the charm of the farmhouse was enticing, I found the layout of the room to be a bit awkward, especially with the stable door design. It made for a stuffy night as I felt uncomfortable leaving it open for fresh air. I wished for a small sink in the kitchenette area for washing up, as the lack of it made meal prep slightly inconvenient during our stay.

Had an amazing time with friends! We explored the stunning countryside and spent a day at the scenic Hexham Races. Linda and John were super helpful, providing lifts to local attractions. The generous breakfast was a highlight every morning. Highly recommend staying here for great hospitality and the perfect location near Hadrian's Wall.
The only downside was the access road, which was a bit bumpy and could be tricky, especially when arriving with luggage.

This place has stunning countryside views, which really made the morning coffee experience something special. The breakfast spread was amazing, featuring everything from cereals to a full English, and the well-thought-out kitchenette facilities with tea, coffee, and even a microwave were a nice touch.
The access road to the hotel is quite a bumpy single-track, which could be tricky for new arrivals or those in a rush. Guests have mentioned that the stable door design in their rooms can result in a stuffy atmosphere at night due to ventilation issues, especially since some rooms lack openable windows. There’s also a limitation in the dining options nearby, which means you might want to plan ahead for evening meals. A few guests indicated they would have appreciated more kitchen facilities, such as a sink in the kitchenette, and noted parking can be a bit cramped during busier periods.

The warm and welcoming atmosphere at Wydon Farm made my solo stay truly special. Linda, the host, greeted me as I arrived, which felt personal and inviting. The triple room surprised me with a spacious layout, comfortable bed, and a lovely en-suite bathroom featuring a large spa bath. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. the choice was impressive, from fresh croissants to homemade pancakes. It felt indulgent and set a great tone for the day. Being surrounded by picturesque countryside was peaceful, and I loved chatting with the friendly animals. On the downside, the access road was a bit bumpy, which could be a challenge for newcomers with luggage. the steps to my room were a minor inconvenience due to my mobility. The dining options nearby were limited, so planning ahead for meals is wise. this lovely farm stay offered great hospitality and a cozy retreat.
